ABOUT ME
SIU KWAN TANG
I was born in Hong Kong and raised in a little village called Ha Tsuen, and at the age of 6 my
family emigrated to England.

Throughout my time at school I always loved art classes, primarily because I enjoyed immersing myself in the
colours, making a mess and learning new techniques. During my primary and secondary education, I was
introduced to and taught predominantly fine art techniques. However while undertaking my
foundation art and design course at The University College for the Creative Arts (formerly
known as The Surrey Institute for Art and Design),discovered that I really enjoyed
graphic design and illustration.

Upon completion of my foundation year at The University College for the Creative Arts, I went on to study BA Graphic Design and illustration at the University of Hertfordshire, where I graduated with honours in 2006.

My work consists of digitally enhanced mixed media art, which included photography,
vector art, hand drawn images, and textured materials.
